Just when I think that I get it.. You know.. the BIG IT. The "Why do people have more than one child" it- then chaos ensues. I was just starting to smile at our good fortune. Penny is sitting, she takes a bottle, we can hold her down and paint her toenails blue for Charlotte's enjoyment, they LAUGH and giggle ALL the time in the car just looking at each other, Charlotte can hold Penny and take her down the slide (albeit small ones), Penny finds everything Charlotte does HILLARIOUS- like she can't breathe funny... just then- when you start to think... this isn't so bad. I get why people have multiple kids close together... just at that moment... Murphy's law comes into play- in the form of a double ear infection, and liquid turpentine that'll rip the skin off of whatever it touches neon yellow poop from penny.. and you think. Nope. 2 is plenty.
