The reason why I do it all--

I hate shots. Not for me- I'm fine the next hour- but the other 2 in my house are definitely peas in a pod for getting flu like symptoms, cranky, and really needy when it's their turn. Adam has already informed me that in 10 years when I press him for another tetanus booster- he'll take tetanus.
We just got Charlotte's last Friday- and what a weekend. Lots of hugging, crying, and licking the bubble wand? (I'm throwing this in the flu symptom category- because do normal children really do this.. anyone else's Buhler? Buhler?)
She's also come out to be the most RED personality that I have ever met. Trapped in a blonde body. That's the only explanation. Poor kid- should've been strawberry blonde. She's taken a stand on just about everything in the house, and if you reprimand her with a NO- she'll burst into tears. Which is lovely accentuated with the added shots from last weekend. So it's days like these that I find myself REALLY wondering.. Why do we do this? What's the real reason that's going to keep me going? (Because the 4 lbs of Chocolate covered raisins- although leaving 6 lbs weight gain in 4 weeks- just didn't leave reason enough) -- side note.. me eat chocolate? What is this next baby doing to me? What am I in for next? Seafood?
Back to topic-- what's the REAL reason that I'm doing this? I'm having a VERY hard time putting it into words.. but all I can think of is this cute face in the picture below. That's the reason.

The other day she found a tutu in the back of her closet that we had her wear for Halloween. I couldn't get her out of it, and it was freezing so she wore it to the park. I didn't get the FULL picture of her with the coat, shoes and hat. But this was cute enough.

Who told this kid she could have an opinion?

She is a doll! I can't believe you're eating chocolate! I hope you're enjoying it. (lol, I remember when we were at Disneyland and you wouldn't even have one of the chocolate covered raisins I brought. How funny.)
