It's been really fun this week to see things through the eyes of Charlotte. It's been SO much fun trying to see why she does the things she does. She's REALLY been a blast. She's doing the funniest things like..Climb the mountain. Charlotte has discovered that things can be climbed on. Be that stairs... cupboards, laps, and.. boxes. We're still learning that once in, it may not be so easy to get out. That's a good lesson for everyone. Think before you jump.. because you never know how long mom may leave you in the box to fetch the camera.
Anything that waves has become number one on her list of coolest things ever. It has allowed me to stop and stare too, because I would normally continue along the path without stopping to notice the leaves, flags, and large chested women who flap in the breeze.
She hates it when I get in the shower. She'll throw a fit and hold onto the tub and just scream. So the last week, I've been leaving the shower curtain open just enough that she can see me. It makes ALL the difference in the world. She just wants to know where I am and what I'm doing.. and to make sure that mean old shower nozzle hasn't taken me out.She REALLY had something against Buzz Lightyear, and Pirates at Disneyland. Could it be the dark lights, and the sudden drops. She would flip around and hold on with a white knuckle grip. But then there was It's a Small World. Besides the fact it's more lit up, she REALLY felt more comfortable holding onto the bar, and maybe it's all the people in white.. it takes her back.
This is probably my favorite. This little person in the mirror who smiles when she smiles and laughs when she laughs is definitely her best friend. I think we'll name her Cordelia (come on green gables fans). Lucky for Charlotte we have lots of full length mirrors in the house, and lucky for us.. she makes friends so easily.

What a doll! It's fun to see pictures of her. I'm sad we're not closer so we could have play dates and see her growing up. It is neat to stop and try and figure out what they must be thinking when they discover things for the first time.
I love how you did her hair! So cute.
